"My grandmother is safe, cared for and respected. Thank you!"

Quaint, quality, and nestled on in beautiful Wrentham. My grandmother has been at Maples for over two years. My grandmother was skin and bones upon entering but is now a vibrant 98-year-old! I appreciate how residents are taken on walks and supported to sit outside and just enjoy the natural beauty. My grandmother is safe, cared for and respected. Thank you!

Child Care Services

Located in the heart of the Alliance Health at Maples, Maples Little Angels is an early education and care program providing quality education and care for a maximum of 29 children ages 8 weeks through 6 years old. The primary goal of Maples Little Angels at Alliance is to assure a high standard of quality care and education that all children deserve.

Our children are grouped into two family-like mixed age groups:

Infants & Toddlers

8 weeks to
2 years 9 months

Preschoolers

2.9 years to
6 years of age

Curriculum

The curriculum for each age group provides appropriate activities, which foster early language and math understanding, as well as social, emotional, and physical growth opportunities. Throughout the day, children make choices, learn to problem solve, resolve conflicts and bolster self-help skills.

Our Philosophy

Each child – each family is unique, bringing its own identity, needs, and richness to our program. In building a program designed to provide care and education for your child we have established the following goals:

To create a safe, secure environment

Children who feel safe, valued, and accepted are free to grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. These children welcome new experiences stretch their creativity and imagination and form positive new relationships. Combining age appropriate limits and boundaries with positive guidance and discipline techniques provides the foundation for this environment.

To create a cooperative relationship

We recognize parents as the most significant figures in their children’s lives. Establishing mutual respect and understanding between parents and staff provides a model, which benefits everyone – especially the child. We encourage daily communication with parents and welcome your participation and input.

To create a comprehensive program

As children explore their world through play, they develop thinking and problem solving skills and a genuine love for learning. Allowing children to make choices throughout the day supports self-confidence and fosters independence in each child.

To create a sense of community

We celebrate the similarities and the differences of each child and each family. Respecting and accepting each other builds tolerance and understanding within our community. Being located in Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center allows us to reach beyond ourselves to another community as we join in intergenerational activities with the residents.
