Sometimes you aren’t sure of what level of care you need. Or whether that need will change one way or another. That’s the time to consider an Alliance Rest Home. A cross between Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing, a rest home offers residents independent living combined with wellness programs, social activities and whatever level of care and support you require. In addition, our experienced care providers are there to provide 24-hour monitoring and supervision and our licensed staff can provide ongoing assessments and recommendations for both short- and long-term care.

Alliance offers 24 hour monitoring and supervision with on-site consultation by professional licensed staff as needed. Rate is all inclusive of care. No separate care levels or extra bills.

What is a Rest Home?
A Rest Home is a Level IV Long Term Care Facility, licensed by the MA Department of Public Health. Care is provided in accordance with the regulations set forth by the State of MA. At Alliance, our Rest Home Communities provide private living arrangements at an all-inclusive daily rate.
What type of Residents live at an Alliance Rest Home?
How much does it cost?
At Alliance, our Rest Homes can offer integrated care at an all-inclusive rate per day. The rate is $250/day or $7500/Mo. This fee is specific to the Rest Home Community and is lower than Assisted Living and Nursing Home pricing. At Alliance, our Rest Homes do not have an additional “Community” or “Entrance” fee to move in as a new resident. Respite stays are available.
Is placement covered by Medicaid or Mass Health?
For placement into a Rest Home to be covered by Medicaid, the specific Rest Home room is required by the State to be certified by Mass Health. At Alliance, our location, Alliance Health at Marie Esther, has some rooms which are certified by Mass Health and are eligible for residents with Medicaid in place, dependent on availability.
