Urgent Stabilization Services in Rhode Island
Alliance Human Services has proudly provided licensed, community-based services in Rhode Island since 2012. Our Urgent Stabilization program is designed to support youth during periods of acute instability through short-term, therapeutic, trauma-informed care. We focus on immediate safety, rapid engagement, and stabilization while preparing youth for a successful, planned transition to their next placement.
Our approach is relationship-based and family-focused whenever appropriate, emphasizing connection to natural supports and community resources. Through evidence-based principles, we help youth build trust, develop skills, and reduce crisis-driven behaviors – promoting confidence, regulation, and stability during critical moments.
Alliance works closely with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) to respond quickly to urgent placement needs and prevent unnecessary hospitalizations or congregate care admissions. Our interdisciplinary team provides coordinated clinical, behavioral, and wraparound supports to stabilize youth safely in a home-based setting.
