


In an industry where staff members are consistently asked to go above and beyond, Alliance Health & Human Services is proud to introduce a program that aims to express our gratitude in a unique and tasty way. “Grateful Gourmet by Alliance” is not just a program; it’s a testament to our appreciation for the hardworking and dedicated individuals who are employed across our 7 Skilled Nursing Communities, 3 Outpatient Wellness Centers, and Serenity Hospice.
The premise is simple, but impactful! Every quarter, we carefully curate and distribute a specially picked treat to each of our Centers with the help from our partners at Boston Gourmet Chefs. Each Center creates their own display or plan for distribution, and tries to make it uniquely theirs! What sets this program apart is that these treats are not an extra snack for our residents or a promotional item, instead they are reserved only for our valued staff members. Each member of the team gets to take home a special treat as a small token of our appreciation for their hard work, compassion, and dedication to Alliance.
Expressing gratitude through these treats is not a new concept, it stemmed from an initiative created during the early days of the Covid Pandemic. In early 2020, our leadership team initiated a weekly treat delivery program that spanned four months. Recognizing the difficulties our staff faced, these weekly treats served as a tangible and heartfelt way to convey our appreciation continuously, going beyond mere words. As the challenges posed by the pandemic evolved, we temporarily discontinued the program, but we’re thrilled to reintroduce it on a quarterly basis, embracing it as a continued gesture of gratitude.
